Work as a guide at the Norway Pavillion

We offer an opportunity to join our team as a guide or host at the Norwegian Pavillion at the Expo 2020.

The Expo 2020 Dubai ( postponed from 2020 – to 2021) will open on October 1st, 2021 and will last for 6 months until March 31st 2022. Norway will operate its own pavilion at the World Expo 2020, Dubai.

Norway is participating to showcase our pioneering sustainable ocean solutions and strengthen our position as a world-leading Ocean Nation . The pavilion invites our visitors on an exciting journey through the sea, from seabed up to space, experiencing Norway’s pioneering sustainable ocean solutions.

We are looking for guides/hosts who can assist our visitors on this journey and thus become an important part of the experience. Our guides/hosts will receive the necessary training in the ocean themes and technology to perform their assignment. In addition, basic training in the rola as a host and training in other issues important for those staying in the United Arab Emirates or the region. Our hosts must speak English, but mastering another foreign language ​​such as Arabic, Chinese or Hindi are considered an advantage.

This is an opportunity of a lifetime to experience the vibrant City of Dubai as a centre of global activity. Dubai and the United Arab Emirates is an attractive destination by itself, and will be all the more exciting when the whole world gathers for the Expo 2020.

The Expo 2020 takes place in Dubai, and will last from October 1st 2021 until March 30th 2022. Guides will be offered 3,5 or 7 month contracts. Guides will be provided with return airfareairfare, accommodation, one to two meals per day, Metro Card, Internet in residence, remuneration according to position category, as well as accreditation to the EXPO 2020.

Working week: 8 hours per day, five to six days a week. Our guides/hosts must be minimum 19 years of age and hold a passport with a minimum of 6 months validity upon arrival. Upon completion of the assignment, our guides and hosts will receive a certificate/diploma of work performed.
