Sterner AS is a leading Norwegian company within water treatment. For more than 30 years, Sterner has been developing technology for clean water. We supply everything from single components to complete turnkey facilities within aquaculture. Our vision is to adapt modern technology into an economical, user-friendly and secure solutions, with low operating costs and long life span.

Our progress is founded on a profound understanding of market needs, as well as the ability to use technology and apply good operating systems. This has contributed greatly to modernizing land-based fish farming, where our solutions still are leading.

We supply process components and complete water treatment systems, and our customers are found in aquaculture, wellboats, food industry and municipalities. Our solutions in the field of gas exchange, filtration, purification and disinfection of water have in many ways set the standard.

The key factor to successful fish farming is water quality. Avoiding particles and bacterial growth means every part of the facility must comply. Our design preserves water quality with sustainable facilities that utilizes all resources available – from water to sludge.

Expo 2020 Dubai

The Expo 2020 Dubai has been postponed to 2021.This is the first time the World Exposition is hosted in the Middle East. The purpose of World Expositions is to promote international relations through uniting world countries with the exchange and exposure of ideas, new thoughts, innovation and experience in business, education, research and technology.

“A BETTER WORLD TOGETHER!” is the main theme for the Expo 2020 Dubai is Expo 2020 Dubai is not just another trade show – but a World Exposition where the world is gathering to present and showcase technology and knowhow for the future. Expo 2020 Dubai themes are in reference to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG). The EXPO theme recognises that generating sustainable solutions to global problems demands collaboration across cultures, nations and regions.

At least 190 countries have confirmed their participation. Among these, around 80 countries will have their own self-build pavilion, with design and content never seen before. A number of NGOs, major corporations, institutes and academia will have their own exhibition facilities.

The EXPO site is situated between the new Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC) and The Port of Jebel Ali, and only a 35-40 minutes’ drive from Downtown Dubai and Dubai International Airport (DXB).
