Norway Day

Join us for the Norway Day at Expo 2020 Dubai, Wednesday February 23rd!

The EXPO 2020 DUBAI is one of the world’s largest business and cultural events, and a unique platform for international cooperation. “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future” is the slogan for the Expo. The focus of Norway’s participation is Pioneering Sustainable Ocean Solutions – Together.

The oceans hold the key to reaching many of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Norway is a pioneer in technology-based sustainable solutions for the ocean within energy, aquaculture, fisheries, shipping, and the maritime sector. Through the business program on Norway Day at the Expo, we want the local and regional business community to know what Norway has to offer in terms of innovations, research and applied technologies within these industries, and make the connections that can give these solutions a global reach.

The innovative potential of Norwegian Ocean Businesses is grounded in the strong values of cooperation and equality. We would therefore also like to discuss how workplace cooperation and diversity as well as cooperation between government, businesses and workforce representatives can enhance innovation and contribute to the Expo goal of connecting minds and creating a better future for all.

Let’s do this through Pioneering Sustainable Ocean Solutions – together!
